This home had an entire makeover as all of the aluminum windows were replaced with a very energy efficient vinyl framed model. Also all of the entry doors in the home were replaced and the openings modified to accept a 8′ high door and frame with new designs. The round exterior posts under the porches were replaced with heavy cedar columns that were stained.
We then added real stone in a dry stack format to the walls and cedar columns to complete the new look of the home. All of the interior doors were changed out as well with the first floor doors modified to accept an 8′ stained rustic Alder doors with new hardware. An outdated stairs and balcony balusters, posts, and spindles were changed out with stained rustic Alder to give the home a new look. Cedar beams were added to the center of the open space for a more rustic feel. We also completely updated the Master Bath and bedroom with a new shower, vanity, and closet. The master closet entry was moved for better access with some cabinets removed for better use of the space. The bedroom ceiling was modified from sloping sides to a boxed look and then stained cedar beams were added for a rustic appearance to match the rest of the home.
The kitchen walls and cabinets were completely renovated with high quality custom made stained Rustic Alder cabinets and new granite top. An existing bar top and center post in one area was removed and made into a one level peninsula slab for updated appearance and better use. Additional recessed ceiling, under cabinet and over cabinet lighting were added as well. Stone was added to the face of the peninsula wall facing the living room and also on an entire wall in a office space. This look of this home was completely upgraded along with greater energy efficiency.
